Sometimes I feel like I've cornered myself into a specific style of DJing, so I love that I can share the many different songs I enjoy here on my blog. I'm a big fan of rap, hip/hop, and R&B. I sometimes touch on that style preference when I'm djing by playing trap mixes.


Right now, I'm ROCKED by Drake's Hotline Bling. And it's a slow enough tune that I could totally work it into a set at Grind!

You know what else I enjoy about it? I was pleasantly surprised that such an incredibly sexy song features women of several shapes and sizes with some sexy swaying, but not looking like a porn star. The whole vibe was laid back and intimate without being in your face sexual.

Don't get me wrong. My mind stays in the gutter. I'm all about da sexy, but I LOVE it when a star does it in a classy way. Sometimes low key says so much more.
